The UV400 lenses filter out 100% of harmful UVA & UVB radiation, for total eye protection. The Polarising filter selectively absorbs 99% of reflected glare, to allow better light contrast and more accurate colour definition, for enhanced fish spotting.

When we set about designing the new Spectre range of sunglasses, we knew we had to come up with something different to meet the demands of modern day anglers. It’s no longer just about eye protection – you need to look and feel good in your shades and if you feel good…. you catch more fish!
All models are made with lightweight polycarbonate frames, fitted with the latest 1mm TAC (Tri-Acetate Cellulose) lenses which offer outstanding, distortion-free, optical clarity. The polarising filters offer superb glare elimination allowing you to spot fish better and follow their movements.

The standard models are available in a lens choice of either Smoke Grey – best for bright light conditions, Amber – best for lower-light conditions or Yellow – ideal for evening and night fishing or under tree cover, due to their ‘light gathering’ properties. In addition, we added two new lens finishes for 2020; one in Electric Blue Mirror finish and one in Green/Yellow Mirror finish – both perfect for bright light conditions, such as those encountered when flats fishing, but equally suitable on the reservoir on bright days.

Like many of us who require reading glasses for close-up work, the hassle this involves when changing flies, or leaders, will be well known to you! Our new, innovative design features lightweight nylon frames with quality polycarbonate lenses. Laminated to the bottom of the lenses are small +2.5 magnifier lenses. These are small enough to be unobtrusive in normal New for 2022 the yellow lens tint takes the sting out of the brightness of the sunlight. If this glare is removed by a polarising lens, the dry fly melts into the background colour of the water, making it harder to see. This specialist un-polarised sunglass is perfect for dry-fly fishing, giving you greater clarity to keep your fly in sight at all times, reducing missed takes. use, but glance down, as you do when changing leaders or flies and the +2.5 magnification brings everything into sharp focus. These are un-polarised, due to the magnifying lenses preventing this, but provide great sun and glare protection, just the same.
