Following the outstanding success of our Prestige G-XS single handed fly rods, it was only a matter of time, before we extended the remarkable pedigree and phenomenally advanced Graphene technology, to a new range of Double-Handed and Saltwater fly rods.
All butt extensions & lower handles are tipped with a rubber composite cork, for additional wear and protection. The Salmon Rods are all finished in a dark, lustrous Teal/Blue, with a combined self-colour and silver whip finish. There are two large lined Stripper rings and high-lift snake rings throughout with each section spot marked for a perfect line up. The 13ft & 14ft models also have whip markings to 110cm, to help quickly assess the weight and size of bigger fish without the need to remove them from the water.

10198 11’ #8 Double-Handed Switch Fly Rod – 5 pce
Designed for double handed use on lakes and rivers, this often referred to ‘Switch’ style rod, exhibits all the power reserves of the Prestige Graphene G-XS range. Still light enough to be cast single handed, as well as for purposely light double-handed use. Great on smaller rivers for large Trout, Sea-Trout and Grilse or from the boat. These rods are so light and versatile, you can use them for almost anything and they possess deceptive and responsive reserves of casting and fish playing power, typical of the entire Prestige G-XS range.
10199 13’ #8/9 Double-Handed Salmon Fly Rod – 6 pce
Traditional double-handed rod but in lighter weight than the 14ft model. Perfect for lighter lines and throwing short heads a long, long way and all day if necessary, with effortless and utterly deceptive ease. Great for multi-tip and multi-density, short-head fly lines especially and the popular choice of the successful, modern day salmon angler.
10200 14’ #9/10 Double-Handed Salmon Fly Rod – 6 pce
The daddy in the range, with the prototype having already accounted for fish over 20lbs in testing of the early samples, across the biggest and best rivers of Scotland. The power and recovery, as with all the Graphene rods is awesome, with the blank flexing all the way through the handle when required. Suitable for longer head traditional Spey lines, but purposely designed for the most modern of short-head Skagit and Shooting-head fly lines, to achieve maximum distance and extreme depth, with fast sinking tips and heavy flies where required.
The Spectre® Spey & Switch rod range simply oozes class, putting other more expensive rods to shame. Following on from the success of the Spectre® fly rod single handed launch in 2017, the Spey & Switch rods, continue to thrive in replacement of the old and award winning Diamond² range
These four models share the same fine pedigree but now with new lighter, crisper blanks for even better casting performance. For convenience when travelling, the Salmon Spey rods all feature 6-pce blanks, while the Switch rods, feature 5-pce blanks, so all models pack down to between 28” & 32”. These two great all-round light-weight Spey rods both have powerful, progressive actions, presenting a long line with effortless ease, agility and feel, yet light enough to remain responsive all day long. Match either with the respective traditional or short head profile Spey lines for a most impressive performance. Where room allows, overhead casting with a short head line, for the less experienced angler, is also permissible.
Two great all-round rods, ideally suited to both smaller and medium rivers, as well as on some stillwaters, from the bank or boat. Crisp, very responsive action provides effortless casting for distance and accuracy, plus the 5-pce blanks make them easily portable. They both work perfectly with the respective short head 350 or 400 grain Switch lines, or the 20g/24g short head Spey where a slightly longer head with a short Poly-Coated leader option can help suit all conditions. Perfect for Salmon, Trout & Sea Trout.
The ever popular Classic range saw the addition of Salmon Spey and Switch rods in 2020. Providing what the Snowbee Classic is famous for – great performance, coupled with sensational value for money. Crisp, responsive action, with reserves of power, these rods are ideal for the newcomer to salmon fishing but also gives the travelling angler a reliable multi-piece travel option as an essential backup rod at a sensible price.

For the budget conscious angler, at last by popular demand a Classic Switch line in exactly the same profile as the popular XS-Plus Prestige Switch, but in a 105ft/35yd overall length, single Ivory colour and just two line weight options. This new line will manage and turnover small or larger flies and is ideal on small to medium sized rivers. Add one of our 5ft Poly-Coated leaders in a range of densities for the perfect presentation, whatever the water level.
A long shallow front taper provides a smooth energy transfer for controlled, accurate presentation. Switch lines are ideally fished with a short Snowbee Poly-Coated Leader, helping fish different depths as conditions dictate. A short, steep rear taper compresses weight into the head, where it’s needed and connects smoothly to a fine diameter, continuous running line for minimum friction and maximum shootability.
